SOCIETY RULES
I. Water level must be above red band on gauges when spinning.
2. Use of maggots prohibited on all rivers, except fly maggot combination during hours of darkness
3. Use of floats prohibited on all rivers.
4. Prawn fishing prohibited.
5. Catch limit not to exceed 8 fish in a day (any continuous 24 hour period), catch to include no more than 4 char.
6. Llvn Dywarchen. fly only. 2 fish limit per day. One visit per day only. Fishing prohibited between the hours
of midnight and 8 am. Dywarchen - No Catch and Release - all takeable fish to be kept.
7. No bait fishing on the Llyfni between Pontllyfni road bridge and the sea.
8. No sea trout under 12” to be kept under any circumstances.
9a. No member to fish a pool or run in front of any angler who is already fishing the said pool or run.
b. Every member shall. Within 15 minutes of being requested by another member, move down a pool or run in
order that the other member can follow him down.
10. Members must carry permit whilst fishing, and when so requested shall produce this permit to another Society
member or water bailiff
11. The sale of any fish caught on Society waters is prohibited.
12. Llyfni - No fishing allowed either bank between white marker posts adjacent to fish counting weir at Pontllyfni.
13. No member shall be accompanied by a dog whilst on Society waters.
14. The use of fish finders is prohibited on Society lakes during the fishing season.

Access points are marked A and parking P. Some ‘unofficial’ parking points have not been marked at all! If you bring your car, please show courtesy and common sense when parking. Please don’t block any vehicular or pedestrian access or rights of way. The reputation of the Society depends on the good behaviour of its members.

The river Seiont is easily reached from the A55. Most of the river access points are from the A4086, which runs from Caernarfon to Llanberis. The beats are listed from the sea to Llanberis. 2 beats are shown per page with a description of the main pools in the following 2 pages.
